Friday : I dressed as an old fashioned undead ghost and I used a long white sheet as a sort of cape. I recommend this costume for one very nice reason. Once you inherit the couch & scratchy blanket duo, you can use your costume to sleep better.

Saturday : Dressed as sorta naughty lil red to go visit Lorien & Guillaume before going to the Rocky Horror Picture Show at Cinéma Dollars! It totally rocked, I will have to go again next year and I will be sure to bring the obligatory rice, water gun, newspaper, toast, cards & whatnot.

Sunday : Took an hour long walk to St-Denis to go get a few bath goodies at Lush and enjoy a terribly indecent bath to try to catch up the little sleep I had. Thank GOD I had an extra hour of sleep with the daylights saving time ending.

Because on the bulletin board just outside my Maya class had a poster promoting the wonderful EV reading room by showing a picture of Nicole Richie. She was supposedly seen “speed walking from the VA building to the EV”… is it just me or the idea of her speed walking defies human nature? She’s too frail and thin, her bones would collapse if she speed-anything!

Not to mention the poster says to “Do like Nicole Richie.” Now I’m scared.

• Official countdown : first party is Friday night and I still have one unfinished sleeve. I had to redo the sleeves caus they were too big. And to make things logical, now the body isn’t long enough. At worst I can dress as something different Friday and keep Charlie costume for Saturday and Tuesday parties.
• Or I can dress like litle red riding hood with my brand new, totally in sale, London Fog red raincoat. It looks so awesome I want to wear it all the time. It has the prettiest lining (which can be removed depending on temperature) and I look good in it. And did I mention it was in sale? :) All this because I needed to pee so badly while walking home that I went to La Baie for the toilets (they’re cleaner than McDonalds across the street) and on my way down I saw the sale section. hehe…
• I was asked by Debbie when my free time is so we can get started on the Donjon & Dragon endeavour… more anxious than ever! Especially now that my brother told me the sole reason of the DM is always to humiliate the players. Yay!
• I suppose that if I’m ever too humiliated I can quit and center my lonely existence with this new obsession of mine (want! want! want!) It is so pretty and less expensive than some really ugly and fancy wheels.
• At least, my exam concerning the Iliad ended up being rather easy even though I only got 12/15… I said the iliad was epic because tons of people die, I forgot to mention they also make rather lenghthy boring speeches. There was a whole section where I only needed to comment on passages (ie. who is there, when is this happening in the story, why is it important, various background) and I got 2/2 on every excerpt so Go Me! I rated higher than average so everything is gooooooood.
• I went shopping with Judith last Friday to find her a good pair of jeans and also maybe stumble on a possible costume. We went to Winners and had fun poking around in the dresses section. Suddenly I saw a terribly ugly purple velvet & black lace creation that was shaped like a wine bottle bag. It defied human esthetics and we made fun of it for nearly 2 full minutes until I looked at the tag. 50% at nearly 500$. It was a goddamned Versace. I’m not feeling too proud and to top it all… (next point)
• It snowed when we got out of the shopping underground. It was super pretty and we ran outside like two nymphs of winterland until the *self-censored* snow exploded on our heads like many water baloon bombs (the ones you do in summer as a child) only the water was terribly cold. Gah! It was like a godly attack of icy water bombs…
• I now know why the name grenade was given to the bomb. The way it exploses it extremely similar to the way the fruit exploses. Not to mention the bloodred juice spattering on the counter sink and on my clothes. I don’t understand, I’ve had this fruit before as a child and I never had so much trouble with it. Why does it have to be so bothersome and it’s so heavenly delicious?

• And I haven’t finished rereading the book.
• And my teeth hurt.
• And I started yet another pair of socks (Embossed Leaves in Plum Essential Tweed).
  
• And there is no stinking fall break week.
  
• And I don’t want to read about Carolee Schneemann and how creepy she is for class.
• Bah.
• Thank god for chocolate milk.
