Once again, I have trouble doing my work at my job. Once again I have to be edting porn pictures and it’s really making me feel uncomfortable. I could litterally work for hours thinking of how to possibly optimize my time to make sure that I spend as less time as possible actually dealing with the photos. Just looking at the folder’s thumbnails makes me feel wrong to the bone, I suppose it doesn’t help that my computer screen is visible from a long way off towards the reception area. I just hope it will all be over soon and that it will look good on television, because in the meantime I am very much hating it.

And if you know me at all, you know that never happens. I actually have no clue what hardware does, I know that when I press the on button on my computer the light turns on and some magic happens that makes it that it actually works. I know vaguely that it’s all about 1s and 0s. I know the theory but I don’t really get it, I’d rather someone tell me it is indeed a gnome that runs in a loop and the computer gets hot and vents caus he’s sweating so much.

But now I feel like my absurd long wait for Leopard is half paying up because they just released a new version of the laptop I’ve been meaning to buy and it looks even more fantastic than before which is really ridiculous since I don’t really understand what they say they changed. ( see above point about my understanding of how computers work) But if they tell me that it’s faster, lighter, smaller and that the screen is both brighter and takes less battery life *and* it is mercury-free… well I think that deserves a squee!

So without further ado, SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

Now if only it was cheaper… and the fact that it is so thin almost scares the hell out of me, what if I break the screen by breathing in its direction? But then, the nano looked like that to me and it didn’t break.

Yesterday I was woken at the most evil hours of the early morning (9am) by Debbie who reminded me that I was supposed to be at La Ronde already… It was a fantastic day and we barely waited at all, even at the very big intense rides. It was a beautiful humid but not too hot day with not too much sun, which was splendid because I hadn’t put on sunscreen. We went on the Goliath which is possibly the best roller coaster ever so far. I screamed the whole time at an intensely high pitched sound, and half the time my screams were so high that they were unaudible and it was absolute silence except for all the dogs around who probably started whimpering. It was the greatest ever and I can’t believe that I can do it endlessly for the whole summer as much as I want now that I have my seson pass! Wohooo!

I added this video here but don’t worry, I haven’t had a surgery to turn me into a teenager boy with whiskers.

Oh and also, thanks for not making fun of me and my soft spot for Nathan. I’ve seen him in the B serie horror movie Slither and he was fantastic, and his role was really cool in Waitress and from what I’ve seen of the trailers of Serenity I can tell he’s gonna warm up my pirate fan girl side no problems. Which reminds me, I so have to reread Robin Hobb’s ships books just because of that fantastic pirate in it. Mmmm.. what was his name again?

I went to give blood and the lady heard me cough once and saw that I have asthma, she told me I wouldn’t give today especially since I had low blood pressure last time and almost fainted. I’m SO bummed.  Once again, there are tons of people who can actually give blood and they don’t. I try, I go out of my way at the other end of the city and they refuse me. Now I suppose it will be a good reason for me to go see the doctor so that I get a new prescription for my flovent/ventolin so that I finally get over the nagging cough since new york… I wish those prescriptions were valid for life. I mean it’s not like I’ll ever stop having asthma.

Also, I went to see Waitress and it was pretty cute and nice without being too much of  agirly movie, but I fear I am developping a major soft spot for Nathan Filion. I should definitly, finally watch Firefly and Serenity if only for him.
