I would like to take a second now and thank the person who invented the drug I am taking right now. 120 mg of pseudoephedrine sulfate & 6mg dexbrompheniramine maleate are rocking my world. I can breathe and I sleep like a baby, and no insane hallucinations of depth vision like with previous things I’ve taken.

And it’s green! green is my favourite colour! oOOooooo green …

After months of having signed on to be on the invitation waiting list for Ravelry.com… I finally got an email telling me how to sign in! Zomg1! The place is so well designed and easy to use and so damn useful! I feel like I’ve been waiting for someone to invent something like this for ages (well, 3 years) I’ve been reading so much good about it in other people’s blog I can’t believe I will be part of it too :D

With all the information regarding patterns, yarns, designers, books all stored together and constantly linked together I can search for yarn that I own and see what other people have done with it, what people think of it. If I find a pattern, I can see how others made it, what errors they found, how they changed it. I can look at projects people are super happy with, projects that they find horrible and see what went wrong (and not do the same mistake) It feels like I will no longer do one google search to find an information necessary to make a second and third goggle search until I find what I’m looking for. All the while with pictures associated!

Once again, I wish I had a digital camera so I could get started taking a picture of my stash, of my WIPs (work in progress), my FOs (finished objects) and all my queue of things I would like to do next. So whoever has received something I made, could you please take a photo and send it over? I guess you could say I’m trying to cover my knitting portfolio archives. I know most of the best stuff I gave away and I’d like to see how it all started (except the horrid acrylic monstrosities, no need to acknowledge those… ever. You have my permission to burn it out of existence)

Wow, I’ve watched the whole video now and I’m totally tempted to buy my macbook pro now so that I can take opportunity of the free ipod student deal.  I’ve been dreaming of cover flow on my iPod since I saw it in iTunes and the battery life looks to have nearly doubled and yet the price remains the same! I don’t know how they do it, but they have got it right. Wow

Typing out that last wow, I had a flashback of the vista slogon “the wow starts now” …  sorry microsoft but there was never any wow from your part since you included minesweeper in the os.

After my afternoon class which was wonderful and seems like it will be really fascinating, I felt confident and sure that the semester was finally starting in a good way. I got home, almost skipping. I had a good supper, everything was just fine. I got to my computer to keep working on Bianca’s Mysterious Present and I saw that I had received a new email. I checked it up and saw it was my morning teacher who was apoligizing for not having showed up and giving us a link to the class website where the syllabus is.

I checked out the website. Now I’m almost ready to cry… I really need to drop my part time job and learn to get by with only 4 hours of sleep each night.
